Former West Ham United defender Danny Gabbidon has given his verdict on one of Everton’s many signings this summer. The 37-year-old believes that the Toffees have made the right call in bringing in Michael Keane from Burnley for what could rise to a club-record equalling fee of £30m.He took to Twitter to praise Everton’s transfer coup.
The England international was linked to numerous Premier League clubs, including Liverpool and his former base Manchester United.
However, Keane opted to join Ronald Koeman’s team, and he is not the only one that has been attracted to Goodison Park.
Everton have been one of the busiest top-flight clubs in the market so far, spending more than £85m on new recruits, and we are just four days into the window being officially open.
Jordan Pickford, Davy Klaassen, Henry Onyekuru, Sandro Ramirez and Keane have all come through the welcome gates, and now Everton have one new player in goal, defence, midfield and attack.
